| | Richard D. Olson, P.E., Senior Vice President | Rick has 39 years of engineering experience including 33 years in the field of sanitary and hydraulic engineering. He joined D. R. STRONG in 1983, and has been a principal in the firm since 1990. Rick's expertise encompasses water, wastewater and stormwater engineering, supplemented by study and experience in traffic engineering, structural engineering, and surveying. He has been involved in grading and storm drainage work from the early phases of feasibility evaluation through the design, construction and as-built phases of various institutional, commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Camp Kalsman Water System, Arlington, WA - Design of Group A water sytem which included design of a new source and treatment, storage reservoir, and distribution system including fire flow. King County Water District #1 - Developed a hydraulic analysis long-range plan for system upgrade and evaluation of under-lake transmission main.
